Estimate a pet insurance reimbursement
Estimate a possible pet insurance payment using your policy’s eligible bill, remaining deductible, reimbursement percentage and remaining limit.
Enter amounts from your own policy or insurer estimate. Use eligible covered charges, not necessarily the full invoice. This estimator models deductible-first reimbursement and does not determine coverage.
Enter policy amounts and calculate.
Calculation: max(0, eligible charges − remaining deductible) × reimbursement rate, capped at the remaining limit. It does not model benefit schedules, exclusions, co-pays, sublimits, or alternative calculation orders. Review your policy or ask the insurer to verify a claim estimate.

How it works
Use the eligible expense and policy amounts stated in your own policy or insurer estimate. This calculator models deductible first, then the insurer reimbursement percentage, subject to the remaining limit.
Good to know
What expenses should I enter?
Enter the amount your policy treats as eligible or covered for this claim, not automatically the full veterinary invoice. Exclusions, benefit schedules, sublimits, co-pays, fees and policy-specific definitions can change the calculation.
Does every policy subtract the deductible first?
No. Insurers can use different claim methods and policy terms. This estimator models one direct-reimbursement method: eligible charges minus the remaining deductible, multiplied by the reimbursement percentage, then capped by the remaining limit. Check your policy or ask your insurer to confirm the order.
Is this the amount I will receive or owe?
No. It is a planning estimate from your inputs, not a coverage decision or claim quote. It does not decide whether a condition or expense is covered, and it does not include excluded charges or every policy limit. Many plans require the customer to pay the veterinarian and submit a claim.
